Quality & compliance

Quality at every step of distribution

How we look after the medicines we supply — from the supplier to your shelf.

Our approach

Product quality

Medicines must reach patients genuine, intact and within their shelf life. Our processes are built around that principle.

  • Supplier and manufacturer information. We record the supplier for every purchase and identify products by generic name, strength and dosage form.
  • Product traceability. Our inventory system supports recording lot (batch) numbers and expiry dates for received stock.
  • Storage and handling. Products are stored according to the conditions on their labelling and rotated so that earlier-expiring stock leaves first.
  • Order checking. Orders are checked against the request before dispatch.
